The United Methodist Church is present in Haiti in the aftermath of the catastrophic earthquake there. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has a field office there, and the best way to make a contribution to the relief effort is to give through our connectional system.
Because of the infrastructure supported by the apportionment money of local churches like Campbell, we know that 100% of all contributions given will go directly to relief, not overhead costs.
If you would like to give, simply include a check made out to Campbell UMC in this week’s offering that is marked “Haiti Relief” in the memo. We will process it in the office and contribute it to the UMCOR advance #418325.

And please continue to pray for the people of Haiti as they cope with the aftermath of this horrific tragedy.
