AHA! I see you haven’t been by the Campbell UMC website lately. Well, the time is now to get up-to-date on our Winter-into-Spring activities, events, and worship!
For example, are you looking for a place to plug in at Campbell throughout the week? Check out the Adult Education page for information on Sunday School, Wednesday Connect, and many other current opportunities (including two new Sunday evening classes, as well as another session of Financial Peace University and a College/Young-adult Game Night in the works).
Are you a CUMC Youth or Youth parent? Did you miss the planning meeting last weekend? That’s OK! The Spring Parent’s Packet and a Current Calendar are available for download on the Youth page. Also, keep watching for information on an alternative Wednesday night opportunity for youth beginning later this month: Love Languages for Teens.
Were you out of town over Christmas? Want to hear what was going on at Campbell? Head over to the Sermons and Worship Music pages for the most recent music and sermon downloads, including special music from all three Christmas Eve services. Also, in case you missed it, the Campbell UMC Praise Band’s CD fundraiser project, A Song Will Rise, is now available for purchase ($12/ea) at the church on Sunday mornings or any time, really!
And women, there’s still time to register for the upcoming Women’s Retreat on January 29th and 30th. The cost is $40, childcare is included, and there are scholarships available. No excuses remain! (plus, even if you come up with an excuse, I’ve got the inside scoop, and let me tell you ladies: there are some great surprises that you won’t want to miss out on. Invite a friend!)
There’s so much going on right now at Campbell United Methodist Church. Parents, don’t forget to plan a special evening for yourselves on January 22nd, our first Kid’s Night Out of the year. Then, Chilingo is coming up on January 24th… you won’t want to miss that! And really, that’s just a warm up for the church-wide Chili Cookoff on January 31st!
What are you waiting for friends? 2010 (twenty-ten, thank you) is well underway… won’t you join in?
