Well, it’s the dawn of a new Campbell era, folks. We’ve had our top scientists and programmers hard at work, churning out imaginative prototypes and innovative beta models. But alas, we have now done it. It is accomplished! After decades of intellectual sweat and tears, our WEEKLY NEWSLETTER is now available for download exclusively from the Campbell UMC website. Hit up www.campbellumc.org and click the Weekly Newsletter link on the left under Media. Add it to your bookmarks! Set it as your homepage! Anything to help you stay connected. In addition, we will archive past issues for a little while so you can be sure not to miss anything, even if you go on an “unplugged” vacation, or on the off chance that you forget to read it some week (pshaw, pshaw, why am I even thinking like that?)!
And friends, not to alarm you or anything, but this really is a great leap forward for our congregation. With postage at an all-time high of $0.44/mailing, well… that’s just astronomical! Why, with a congregation of, oh, say 1,000 interested members, sending out a weekly newsletter could be quite pricey. Just IMAGINE with me for a moment… what could we do with an extra cool thousand per week? Hmm? I’m thinking great things. Amazing things! Marvelous things!!
But I digress. Nobody is trying to leave anyone behind in this little exchange. We’re just taking the Weekly Newsletter to a new level. Some of you may prefer to get your letters in the mailbox, and that is perfectly OK by us! Just make sure you let us know! In fact, there is a sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall right now for anyone who prefers to receive their Weekly Newsletter by mail. And if you can’t make it up to the church to opt-in, just call Linda at the office or email her at cumc @ campbellumc . org, and we’ll get you all taken care of!
Finally, just to eliminate any confusion, you’ll still find late-breaking updates and categorized church news right here on The CUMC News Feed. In fact, we’ve sprinkled the News Feed around the main website a little bit, too. We just don’t want you to miss out on the great things going on at Campbell. We are family, after all. So, what are you waiting for? The Weekly Newsletter isn’t here… it’s over there, at the Campbell UMC website! Hot off the presses (or the keyboards)! Happy reading!
