Happy Christmas, Campbell UMC!
Just days away from Christmas, and the celebrations of the season are in full swing. I give God thanks for the rich variety of ways you all have lived and grown and shared during Advent. Across the convergent boundary of Christ’s birth, the hope and peace and joy and love of Advent are being born; God incarnate is coming to life in our midst! What a miracle!
I hope that you celebrate this weekend in worship together, wherever you happen to be. If you are close to Campbell, we will worship at 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and on 10:00 a.m. Christmas morning. Each of the Christmas Eve services will include communion and candlelight. The Christmas morning service will be a light and joyful celebration, so feel free to “come as you are,” even if you’re still in your jammies!
It is a holy time; God is meeting the world in the birth of a baby named Jesus, and the world will never be the same!
